Frequently Asked Questions
Is MyBenAI really a one-time purchase?
Yes. $2 once. No subscription, no recurring charges, no hidden fees — future updates included.
Is there a free version?
Yes — MyBenAI Lite. It includes chat, voice, tools, sub-agents, documents, memory, jobs and connectors, free forever, and gives every new install 7 days of full access first. Image generation, vision, deep research and the largest models unlock for a one-time $2.99. There is no card on file and nothing to cancel. The full comparison is here.
Why is the paid app cheaper than the unlock?
Because the free listing costs more to run — a second store surface, a second review queue — and because buying up front should be the better deal. If you already know you want the whole app, $2 is the cheaper route.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. MyBenAI works entirely offline. Chat, voice, vision, and image generation all run on your phone without internet. Optional features like web search use internet only when you enable them.
Is my data private?
Your conversations, documents, memories and generated content stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. There are no ads, no trackers and no profiling. The app does send anonymous usage statistics by default — which model ran, how fast, your device tier, OS and app version, and a random install id, never your message content — and there is a switch to turn that off. Every request the app makes is listed in its own network log.
Which phones can run MyBenAI?
MyBenAI automatically profiles your phone's hardware and downloads the best models it can run. It supports modern Android and iOS devices with sufficient RAM. Older or low-end phones will run lighter models; high-end phones can run larger, more capable models.
What's your refund policy?
MyBenAI is sold through app stores. Refund eligibility depends on your app store's (Google Play, Apple App Store) standard policies. Contact the app store if you need to request a refund.
